Disney Lorcana UK Set Launch
We consulted and assisted our client Ravensburger with the launch of the new Disney Lorcana set in the UK and Ireland! This included strategy concepting, the actual launch the UK store network, as well as demo tours, and in-store activities.
Ravensburger is the leading producer of puzzles, games, and children's books. In 2023, Ravensburger released the Disney-themed trading card game (TCG) Disney Lorcana.
Together with Ravensburger, we have organised countless Disney Lorcana tournaments, including the 2024 Disney Lorcana Challenge European Championship, and have supported them in their push to launch Disney Lorcana in hobby game stores.
For their new Disney Lorcana set, Ravensburger aimed to launch Disney Lorcana in the UK store network. As part of this project, we consulted Ravensburger and their store staff, organised the launch event, and in-store activities.
As TCG and gaming tournament experts, we consulted and advised Ravensburger and store staff, providing a basic TCG training, including the genre and community, as well as an overview of best practices as TCG tournament organiser.
Finally, on the day of the launch, we provided support to successfully launch the product as well as assisting with the store activations in the London and Dublin Disney Stores. At the store, we hosted demos of the new Disney Lorcana set, Azurite Sea, organised a Disney Lorcana artist signing, and provided a glorious promo card for Disney Lorcana fans.
Disney Christmas Launch
A day prior to the launch, we showcased Disney Lorcana as part of the Disney Christmas launch PR event.
London Toy Fair
We also supported Ravensburger at the London Toy Fair 2023, for which we invited stores in our network, managed all NDAs, and provided mock-up booster boxes and promo cards of the upcoming set.
MCM Comic Con London
We debuted Disney Lorcana at Comic Con. At MCM Comic Con in London, we organised the Disney Lorcana area, including demos, promotional activities, artists signings, and merchandise sales. We even brought over the famous Illuminary from France, which was a popular photo location for Disney Lorcana fans at Comic Con!
Disney Lorcana Store Demo Tour
We created an awesome map with an overview of hobby game stores in the UK and Ireland where TCG fans can learn to play Disney Lorcana!
